Victoria & Liam
This was my first time in Dartmoor, and it was spent with the loveliest humans!
Actually, I tell a lie. This was my second time in Dartmoor… but I consider it my first time! My first time exploring the moors was also with Victoria and Liam, when we met up for a coffee and a a walk around this lovely spot in Yelverton last year, which they plan to explore on their wedding day!
I think you’ll see from this session that these two radiate happiness. If they could be summed up with one word, it would be ‘sunshine.’ They are just the happiest, most loving couple, and their pre wedding engagement session brings me boundless amounts of joy!
Victoria and Liam are a similar age to me, and we have been through similar things, in that for the majority of the time, they too are apart. For those of you who have followed me for a long time, you might know that my boyfriend Jack and I have been doing long distance for over eight years now, between Devon, where he lives, and Essex where I currently live. At the end of this year, I plan to close the distance gap, as do Victoria and Liam when they make their vows in April this year! I think that’s what made this session even more special - it was about them just being together and enjoying one another’s company. When you spend so much time separated by distance, any time together is so incredibly wonderful, and these two prove just that!
We had the loveliest time exploring this little nook of Dartmoor, embracing the sun, the wind, the rain, lots of laughing, some dancing, and we were even accompanied by sheep and of course, a Dartmoor pony! After lockdowns and shoots being cancelled left right and centre, being able to do a pre wedding session with one of my couples made me so happy.
Thank you Victoria and Liam for your time, and for bringing me so much joy. I cannot wait for your wedding day in April!
