The Pertl family. 🥰

Sometimes you photograph people who you feel like you’ve known forever, and the Pertl family are those kind of people. Lovely Lucy and Eddie get married in October this year at one of my favourite coastal venues, so it was only natural to do their pre wedding family session at the beach too!

This family were absolute troopers let me tell you! Super gusty winds at Saunton blew sand right into our faces the entire time. The conditions were so unexpected and difficult to work in, so much so l that I half considered postponing the session whilst I was shooting… but not a group to be deterred, we sought shelter and made it work, and the results were so worth the persistence!! The wind and sand made for super dramatic look and we just embraced the chaos!

Lucy, Eddie and the boys, thank you for being so easy going and I’m so sorry if you’re finding sand everywhere for the next few weeks. 🤣 I loved photographing you all and I cannot wait for your wedding day now! 💜
