The Mills family.

What an absolute pleasure it was to spend the evening of the hottest day of the year with the lovely Mills family. I’ve been looking forward to meeting them in person for some time, and from the moment we met on Saunton beach we just clicked.

The kids were so much fun, they loved running around in the water and up and down the dunes with their puppy Bobby. The youngest said ‘This is the best day ever!’ and when I asked her why, she said ‘Because you’re here! You’re my new friend! Are you coming to the wedding too?’ ‘Yes, I am!’ I said. ‘YAY!’ she exclaimed, and off she went dancing - safe to say my heart melted.

The impact of this job continues to surprise me even 13 years later. Creatively, this job has always been a huge outlet for me and for my mind, but on a personal level, I spent much of my teenage years as an introvert, so it means so much when kind words come first hand. It’s always been my endeavour to put people at ease and help them see the way I see them, so for a shy little girl to say how much she loved the photoshoot, it cant help but warm my heart. There is space for everyone to shine in this world and I’m so glad I can do my tiny part in helping people to feel amazing!

Thank you so much Harriet, Adam and the kids for coming so far to see me. The countdown to the wedding is on!
