When I tell you I have been absolutely dying to share this wedding, I mean it! On Friday I drove 9.5 hours from Devon, back to my hometown in Essex, ready for this incredible couple’s wedding day. It was absolutely sublime. Classy, timeless, and a feast for the eyes. I don’t think I will ever forget this day! 💜

Jodie owns a production company, and had scoured her venue’s instagram last spring, when she stumbled across my work. A DM popped in my inbox. ‘Would you come back to Essex for our wedding at all? I just love your photos! I’ll even book the date around you!’ she said… and well, the rest has been history. How sweet is she?!

We didn’t get to meet in person until the day itself, but it didn’t matter. Jodie and Alex are two of the most selfless souls, and were so incredibly trusting in my abilities and my vision, along with my dad who was my second shooter. It really meant the world to me that they just let us do our thing… including grabbing them all post dinner for those big group photos and catching the last of the sunlight with their videographer @jamessmithweddings. I think the results absolutely speak for themselves! ✨

Lastly, Jodie and Alex hired the most incredible team of suppliers, all of whom are tagged. I urge you to check them out. Weddings take a community, and all of these people are so very talented!

Jodie and Alex, thank you for inviting my dad and I to share in arguably the most important day in your lives together. It was unforgettable!
