Jemma and Luke

A wedding day that also celebrates 10 years together. 💜

Oh Jemma and Luke, what a special day Friday was! I remember these two enquiring with me, I was still living in Essex at the time, with a dream of moving to Devon. Six months later that dream became a reality, and 18 months later I finally got to photograph their wedding day. I genuinely put the possibility of relocating down to so many of my wonderful couples, people like Jemma and Luke, who trusted me to photograph their wedding day before I was even local to the area. It means the world and is something I’ll forever be grateful for. 🥺

Being a part of their wedding day was so special, even more so because it celebrated their ten year anniversary. I also had my absolutely lovely friend Ella at @buxton.photography second shoot for me (my very first time with a second shooter as well!). We were something of a dream team and I’m so thankful for all of her help, even if it meant holding onto Finn their dog for a few frames! Ella will have her own previews coming soon, so I can’t wait for her to share them!It was such a lovely day. The couple made plenty of time for couple photos, mostly with their dog Finn, and together the five of us explored the grounds of @mountedgcumbe in the landrover, making the most of the beautiful Cornish landscape.Thank you Jemma, Luke, Finn and Ella for the most fantastic day.
