Jake and Tash
Last shoot of the year? Done!
It was so, so lovely to meet up with Tash and Jake today in Croyde ahead of their wedding at @driftwoodsparsweddings next year! This lovely trio came all the way from Essex only to end up doing what was hands down the windiest engagement shoot ever, but you know what? I love it! Cooper their spaniel had so much fun bouncing around in the blustery wind as well. Everyone’s energy was high today and that’s exactly how you’ve got to be when you’re battling gale force winds and uncooperative weather, hair and coat hoods! Thank you for being such good sports Jake and Tash!!
Honestly there’s nothing better than getting to meet my couples ahead of their weddings and just hang out and have fun with them. Your wedding day is all about glamour, they photos are usually much more refined and ‘perfect’… but at pre wedding shoots you can do anything! We did all sorts of silly things, like jumping over puddles, piggy backs, airplanes and clambering over rocks and sand dunes, and everyone ended up covered in salt water and sand, but it was absolutely worth it! I’m loving how involved Cooper got too, he was such a character bless him!
Thank you all for coming so far to see me and for being so amazingly upbeat in this weather Jake and Tash! Honestly the shoot today blew away the cobwebs and I feel like I’m ending my year on such a positive note, so thank you both!! I can’t wait to see what 2023 brings!
