What a way to end August, with the fabulous Holly and Jack at @watermouthcoveweddings. I am struggling to find the words to do this wedding and these incredible human beings justice, so I’ll use an excerpt from Jack’s speech to sum up how I feel: ‘In this moment, I am exactly where I am supposed to be.’For me this really summed up their entire wedding day. Being fully present in the moment with all of the people they love dearly. We are all guilty of spending our lives aspiring for more. Waiting for the next big thing. And in doing so, sometimes we gloss over what we already have. Who and what we have in our lives. I think if we all stopped and slowed down a little and took a leaf out of their books, we could allow ourselves to enjoy the ‘now’ and worry less about the future.

Jack and Holly are two of the most humble, grateful people I have ever, *ever* met. They both spent a chunk amount of time to pull us aside and genuinely thank us for being a part of their day. ‘Grace, I want you to know we didn’t just choose you because of your work. We chose you because of who you are as a person.’ Jack said. This means so much to me. I put my heart into my job. Into the people that I meet. And to be viewed at as more than just a service is something I hold very dear to my heart. Yes we are wedding photographers, but we are human beings creating art also. This wedding was one where I could fully be creative with no restriction, and it was all about being in the moment.Thank you Holly and Jack for everything. We love you!
