Phoebe, Harry, F & baby W. 💫

One of the most special sessions I have photographed this year (and not just because cows were involved!) This family session lit a fire in my heart and fulfilled me so much as a creative. It is one I will never forget.So, a back story… This session has been almost three years in the making! Talented florist Phoebe, and her fiancé Harry, actually booked me back in 2021 for their wedding in 2022, but later cancelled their plans. We then chatted about a few potential new dates, but after finding out they were expecting baby W, things got put on pause. Phoebe recently reached out to tell me they had finally secured a new date, and had downscaled their wedding into something more intimate… but heartbreakingly I’m unavailable. 😭

But, like most things, the world has a way of working things out in some form, and instead we opted to do a family session at a location new to me, but one that is very special to them. We were blessed with the most incredible sunset and little F got to hang out with some friendly cows, which made her incredibly happy. She is such a shy, sweet soul, and her kindness for animals beams out of her. It really made me realise that my job is about creating for and serving my clients. I don’t just take pretty photos, I help to make memories, and create photographs that tell stories.

Phoebe, Harry, and the little ones… thank you so much for giving me total creative freedom. This session is so special and I’m really grateful I finally got to create something for you. 💜💫
