Amy and Pete
Amy and Pete. 🌻
If you’re looking for sunshine personified, look no further. These two humans spent their entire wedding day at @watermouthcoveweddings giggling away and having a wonderful time, Amy was rarely seen without a smile on her face. This might just be the jolliest wedding I’ve ever photographed. 🥹
Amy and Pete are one of the only 2024 couples I hadn’t met before their wedding day, but it needn’t have mattered, as they are just the loveliest people. I said to Amy I can see why they chose sunflowers, because if they were a flower that’s what they’d be. They embraced their day in full, even when the rain began to pour. Everyone grabbed an umbrella and made the most of it ‘You can’t do anything about it can you?!’ Amy said. And she’s right! I love when couples share the same free spirited attitude and don’t let it dampen their spirits.
The day went past in the blink of an eye but my dad and I photographed so many awesome moments. Looking back through the images really reminds me of how important this job is and how fleeting each moment is. Each day is made up of literally hundreds of tiny interactions, details and moments, and having them documented is so special.
Wedding season this year seems to have blitzed past, but I couldn’t be more grateful to share in such pinnacle days in people’s lives together. I know that these photographs will only grow in importance as time continues on, and I feel very honoured to have been able to create for so many of you this year. 💜Thank you Amy and Pete, what an amazing day!! 🌊
