Alex and Ross
An intimate wedding at @brickhousevineyard ✨
Wowee, where do I begin with Alex and Ross? This wonderful Bristolian pair enquired back in the spring, in fact I remember our call vividly as it was bucketing it down outside my window and Alex was nestled into her car on the zoom call whilst her son slept in the back. That rainy day couldn’t have been further from their wedding day, which was a scorcher at Brickhouse Vineyard. 💜
Having been engaged for around six years, and now with two little ones in tow, the couple opted for an intimate ceremony with just their very closest family present. I still covered Alex’s preparations, their ceremony, family and couple photos, and it felt like an entire day condensed into just three hours coverage. They made me feel so incredibly welcome, looked after, and as if I were one of the family, and Alex later told me that their couple photos felt so relaxed and as if they were ‘hanging out with a friend they’d known for years.’ 🥺 It took me two hours to reply to that very sweet message the next day as it was just so wonderful, and is a true representation of not just them but their families. They are all so warm and friendly and it was on days like their wedding that my job didn’t feel like a job. 💜
Alex and Ross, I wish you and your little ones all the happiness in the world. Thank you for inviting me to be a part of your day, I have loved getting to know you and photograph you all. You’re just wonderful. 💜
